Schooling hammerheads and sea turtle – Galapagos Magic

Research in the Galapagos’ Wolf and Darwin Islands has identified mating populations of scalloped hammerhead sharks, including both resident and migrating individuals (who travel up to 1,000 km). The sex ratio of scalloped hammerheads is biased towards females, with males typically occupying the periphery of the aggregation.
