Box jellyfish are considered one of the most venomous creatures in the ocean. Not all box jellies, such as this one photographed off of Florida, are as lethal as the Australian species, but they still pack a healthy amount of venom which they use to capture prey. Unlike regular jellyfish, box jellies can see and are good swimmers — some can swim as fast as 4 knots.
