Baby sea turtle – Undaunted

Baby loggerhead sea turtles absorb nutrients from their egg yolk sac for 2-4 weeks, fueling their swim, supporting growth, and protecting against starvation as they journey out to sea, through a process called “embryonic residual yolk absorption.”
