This sand diver fish, a member of the lizardfish family, contains an extensive number of teeth. Not only are teeth located on the lizardfish jaw, but also on its tongue and the roof of its mouth. These extra teeth allow the sand diver to firmly grasp large fish reaching the extreme limits of its mouth’s diameter.
