Green moray eels spend a lot time during the day resting in crevices on the reef, such as this one in West Palm Beach, Florida. Numerous symbiont creatures, such as most of the fish in this photo, help rid the eel of unwanted parasites. These ‘cleaners’ will even enter the mouth and gill area of a moray eel without being preyed upon.
