Many estimates are often mentioned regarding the survivability of baby sea turtles (ie. 1 in 1,000 survive), but once these sea turtles enter the water they begin, what biologists call, “The Lost Years.” Not a lot of information is known about them until they mature and return to nearshore ecosystems.
