In the last couple of years invasive lionfish have shown up in large numbers along the Florida reef tract. These skillful hunters feed on the numerous native fish. Lionfish have a highly toxin venom in their spines. This invasive fish has no natural predator so it is up to scuba divers to help cull their numbers along the Florida reefs.
