The peacock flounder (Bothus lunatus) is a colorful and odd-looking fish. A master of camouflage, it can quickly change the color of its skin to match the pattern of the sand around it. In its larval stage, its eyes and body shape appears like that of any other fish. As it matures, its eyes migrate to one side of its body while the rest of the body stays the same. The peacock flounder is certainly in the metamorphosis of evolution.
