Mullet fish are euryhaline, thriving in waters from fresh to saltwater. Acoustic telemetry data reveals they migrate over 600 miles from the Yucatan Peninsula to Florida’s coast. They are an important food source for many predators, including sharks, rays, tarpon, and large predatory fish.
